This is a salesman sample of a lighted sign system manufactured by the Ad Sign Co. The piece demonstrates how a customer can order a lighted sign that can say anything they want. Using any letters or numbers for the sign along with blanks and white blocks. The base is a tray that could be made to any length and then the individual letter boxes slide onto the tray and plug into each other to light. Each letter is milk glass panel with letter painted on the front. This is the sample the salesman took around to sell the product. This sample is 12 1/2″ long x 5 1/2″ high and 3 deep. It has a rubber coated braided cord and fits in an easy to carry leather case. All are in very good condition. The name of the company and “Patent Pending” are on the side of two of the letter boxes.
