With 1965 Top Hits WKTM Radio Light-Up. Advertising Clock – Hartford Wisconsin. Very cool and possibly one of a kind WKTM Radio Station advertising clock. Whats neat about this clock are the songs listed under the 1965 TOP HITS banner. I Can’t Get No Satisfaction – Rolling Stones. Back In My Arms Again – The Supremes. Lonely – Bobby Vinton. (I Can’t Help) Myself – Four Tops. Sunshine and Lollipops (and Rainbows) – Lesley Gore. This clock has a toggle switch which allows you to leave the clock running while turning the light bars On or Off. This way the Synchron clock always keeps the correct time. The DJ only had to glance at the sign to remember the call letters, give the correct time or see what the top hits of the week were…. Pretty handy in the days before computers! Sign housing is steel, sign face is white lexan (or similar plastic). Clock hands are covered with a glass bubble lens. Power cord is a newer replacement. Back cover has a full length hinge for easy access to the 2 florescent bulbs and to set the clock. Measurements: approximately 24″ wide by 15-1/4″ tall by 5 deep. Clock will be properly wrapped and packed with foam peanuts in an over sized. Vintage Double Sided Wooden DeKalb Winged Ear Advertising Sign
This listing is for a double sided wooden DeKalb “winged ear” advertising sign. The sign measures about 63 1/4″ x 33″ and is 3/4 thick. The sign sits in a bracket that measures 16″ long and 1″ wide. The pipe fitting on the bottom measures 3 in diameter. There is some wear and tear on both sides, one side also having less faded paint. Some wood has cracked off near the bracket. The winged ear is one of the most iconic graphics in agricultural advertising. Please take a close look at all of the photos.
