The KONETA HOTEL SIGN from Wapakoneta Ohio. Item is 2 sided, porcelain. A few, small chips, on both sides, due to falling off building, during a 1940 thunderstorm. New neon can be added, or, item can be left as-is. That’s me, in the white t-shirt, a few minutes, after it was found. Because I didn’t want to risk potential damage (from items already in my trailer), I drove to Williamsburg, Virginia, the following week, to pick it up. Item has been on display, at a local restaurant, for free, since March, of 2016. New owner must contact restaurant owner, to negotiate a convenient, and safe removal time. IT RUNS VERY GOOD , TICKS EVENLY WHILE IT KEEPS VERY GOOD TIME. REMEMBER , ITS AN “8-DAY” CLOCK , BUT WITH AGE THEY WILL TEND TO RUN A LITTLE SLOW (or fast) AS THEY RUN DOWN , AND YOU WILL USE THE faster / slower SLOT ON THE BACK. THE WHITE PAINT ON THE METAL CASE IS ORIGINAL WITH NO TOUCH-UPS AT ALL. THERE ARE ONLY MINOR SCRAPES ETC. AS YOU CAN SEE. THE HAND AND THE faster / slower ADJUSTMENTS ARE ON THE BACK AND BOTH WORK FINE. THE GLASS IS VERY CLEAN AND CLEAR WITH ONE MINOR SCRATCH AT THE 7 , YOU MAY NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO SEE. (See the enlarged photos below). THIS OIL AD CLOCK OVERALL IS IN JUST AWESOME CONDITION AS SHOWN. CLEAN THE CASE TOO MUCH , ALTHOUGH ITS BEEN KEPT CLEAN OVER MANY YEARTS. THE FACE STILL HAS VERY GOOD COLOR GRAPHICS , IT HAS BROWNED AND LOOKS TO HAVE SOME DETERIORATION , BUT TO BE EXPECTED OF AN OLD CLOCK. THE DIAL IS SIGNED ” INGRAHAM ” ON THE BOTTOM AS SHOWN. THE OLD STATION CLOCKS ARE ALWAYS GOOD BECAUSE THEY HAD MECHANICS TO KEEP THEM GOING!! most not this clean! OPENED THE CLOCK , PICTURED , INSPECTED, AND OILED IT WHERE APPROPRIATE. EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD AND TICKI. THE BACK FOR THE CASE FITS TOGETHER GOOD AND TIGHT WITH 3 BOLTS. METAL CLOCKS WERE SOME OF THE MOST RELIABLE AND DURABLE INDUSTRIAL CLOCKS…… WE ACQUIRED THIS PIECE AND OTHER ANTIQUES AT SALES , AUCTIONS AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS. WE DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE ITEMS AS WE ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL COLLECTORS. The Clock Measures 7″ Dia” , And 3 Deep THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT GIFT OR ADD IT TO YOUR COLLECTION.
