Vintage Dad’s Old Fashioned Root Beer Porcelain Advertising Sign Soda Pop
Up for sale is a very nice vintage single sided porcelain sign/Pump plate. This sign is approx 12″ X 8″. This sign could have scratches, have porcelain chips, be rusted, or be almost mint. Please look at all of the provided pictures to judge the condition of the sign for yourself. It displays very nicely and would make a great addition to anyone’s advertising collection. I found all of these signs years ago when cleaning out an old timers estate and they have been in storage for years. This is the first time that they have seen the light of day in a very long time. THIS CLOCK OVERALL IS IN GREAT WORKING AND DECENT COSMETIC CONDITION CONSIDERING ITS AGE. IT IS VERY CLEAN (but not detailed) , DESPITE THE NICE OLD PATINA. IT HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED , AND WAS BOUGHT AT A GUN SHOW IN ST. LOUIS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. THE HAND ADJUSTER IS THE KNOB ON THE BACK , WORKS FINE ALONG SIDE THE WIND-UP KEY THAT TURNS WITH EASE. THE FACE HAS SOME STAINING , BUT THE COLOR STILL LOOKS GOOD WITHOUT ANY FADING , SO IT DISPLAYS GREAT. THE BRASS MOVEMENT HAS BEEN OILED AND IS ALSO VERY CLEAN AS SHOWN. Prestone Anti Freeze 36 Gas Oil Porcelain Metal Thermometer Vintage 1940’s EC! . This was my dad’s and is super cool and in almost perfect condition! The paint is worn or chipped by the 110 number, as can be seen in the photos. Otherwise this is perfect! Let me know if you have any questions! After closer inspection I would like to add. No rust on Prestone lettering ; there is a weird glare in photo. Chip on upper left side edge by the “P”. Chip on upper right side edge by the “E”. Chip on lower left edge by “You’re Safe”.
