Vintage Circa 1970 Cybil Shepherd Schwinn Bicycle Advertising Sign Store Display. Features – Rare folding Cybil Shepherd bicycle store display advertisement. Heavy cardboard construction, stand 63 tall. Condition is as seen – has some edge wear, on the reverse its missing the standing up portion on the bottom, overall good shape. You are looking at a made in England around 1915 by BRIFFITNS of Birmingham & London enamel sign company. This porcelain sign is for Hopper’s Cycles. Agent for Duplex, Torpolee, Torpedo, Little Giant bicycles. 18 inch high x 15 inch wide. Makers name on bottom. No repairs, no touch ups, in all original condition. Hopper’s of England started making cycles in 1880. More fading on one side, though both sides are not mint condition due to being so old. Rust damage: see all close up photos. AUTHENTIC, this is not a reproduction, not a fake, not recently made, 100 YEARS OLD. Weighs 4.4 lbs without any packing. Thick steel and porcelain enamel.
