Two-piece countertops join at the end to form an approximately 14-ft length. 6 original red and white porcelain panels frame both ends and the front. The panels themselves are about 29-in tall. They were at one point adhered to a wood backing with a black “tar” like glue substance. What remains on the back of the panels is pretty rock hard. There are also several spots on the front where that adhesive came off of one panel onto the front of another during storage. Because the porcelain is in such good shape, we have no doubt that that will scrape off or can be removed with any type of chemical out there! I’m sure heating up the glue will help to remove it quicker. Eight pieces in total to form this awesome piece of 40s or 50s malt shop memorabilia! Would be perfect for any collection, or an awesome store counter as well.
