VINTAGE RARE CRISP c. 1900 DIAMOND DYES “A BUSY DAY IN DOLLVILLE” TIN OVER CARDBOARD LITHOGRAPHED SIGN. Never seen a cleaner example of this rare early “tin over cardboard” lithographed sign that would have adorned the wall of an early Country store at the turn of the last century! Wonderful clean condition with the cardboard backing still intact! Incredible graphics on this piece of early Diamond Dyes advertising! This piece was created by the artist “Besse Pease Guttman” & is signed in the artwork on the bottom left corner! When this piece does surface it’s always beaten up! NOT this example as the multiple photos show! Approximately 17″ by 11″ in size & self-framed with the border slanted on an angle somewhat! Would be hard to find a nicer piece of advertising! Wonderful addition to any Country store, General store or Dye cabinet collection! Would make a superb addition to any Soda fountain, Grocery store, Ice cream parlour, Diner, Luncheonette, Drugstore, Apothecary, Malted milk, Hot chocolate, Syrup dispenser, syrup bottle, vintage Straw holder, Orange Crush, Lemon crush, Lime crush, Coca-cola, Pepsi-cola, Hires, Dr. Pepper, 7-up, Moxie or soda collection! This piece will be bubblepacked to the excess & double-boxed to assure a safe arrival! I use only premium bubblepack, peanuts & double-walled boxes in my packaging! If you need anymore photos just ask & I’ll send them along! I charge the exact mailing cost with no charge for. Bubblepack, peanuts, boxes, time, etc. Any questions, please ask.
