This thermometer contains an alcohol-based liquid and does not contain mercury! Also not only is the liquid mercury free but it is green in color instead of the usual red! Teem soda used to be a green in color, thus the green liquid in the thermometer. I have never see the green liquid before in any thermometer before. The color is superb on this fine piece.
