Genuine Vintage Enamel Advertising Sign, Singer Sewing Shop, Machine Repairs Kettering. Here is a genuine period enamel advertising sign for the Singer Sewing Machine Shop Silver Street Kettering. This is a actual period sign with all the age related damage seen in the pictures. I think these were a standard design of sign issued to Singer Shops with just the address panels at the bottom varying between signs. Although the digit is sadly damaged on the sign I seem to think I was told in the past it was 2 Silver Street. Maybe someone with local past knowledge of Kettering will know! Measures approximately 12″ × 18″ Has obvious enamel lose seen in the pictures and the 2 holes in the middle top and bottom are later additions. There is much surface scratching but it does retain a surprising amount of shine. Traces of cement on the rear! Any questions please ask.
