Large TEXACO Double-Sided Porcelain Sign dated 3-10-59. This sign is a favorite among gas and oil collectors due to its amazing graphics and striking color scheme. It is by no means mint, but is in far better condition than most you find mostly because it has been stored inside the past 30+ years away from the elements and “rock throwers” like Ernest T. There are no major issues, but there are minor: chips, dings, dents, scratches, etc. (see photos for exact condition). Also, on one side some small chips had been “touched-up” when I got the sign years ago (all I have ever done is wash it). It has become increasingly hard to find this highly sought after sign (especially in this condition), so don’t miss this great opportunity to own a unique and eye-catching piece of oil and gas history.
