This authentic Veuve Clicquot advertising sign is made of “glocoide” which is a type of acrylic which was used as an alternative to enamel for advertising signs at this time as it was less likely to rust and lighter. This material is very durable yet easy to form and mold as you can see that it is wrapped a thin underlying layer of metal. These signs were used at private/corporate events back in the 1970s and use the old Veuve Clicquot font. As always, the bottle is not included. Size is 14″x7″.

Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. On the front of the sign there is the large red octagon stop sign shape, with the graphic of a man skiing in the center, there is the red line crossing the center indicating no skiing. The bottom of the sign has the wording, Closed on it. The sign has some edge bends, surface scratches and paint ware, but overall still a nice sign. The sign measures about 18 inches wide and 24 inches tall. I do have a white inventory sticker on the sign above the pheasant graphic on the left side.
