This is a Help wanted, NO Irish need apply by the Emplyment Brokers vintage genuine porcelain sign and it is in excellent condition, with vibrant and rich colors just as it had when originally manufactured. STILL has a nice glossy shine as it is actual porcelain. A true collectible piece that displays beautifully. Minor chips in the outer field, as well as some moderate rusting around the mounting holes, as is to be expected from being displayed outside and hanging in the elements. Really, beautiful layers of porcelain. It is USED and was hanging being displayed outside. Feel free to zoom in and check out all of the photographs for you, they are the best description of the exact sign. WEIGHTS: Approximately 2 pounds. IT HUNG OUTSIDE A CHRYSLER/MOPAR PARTS WHOLESALER (MOTOR PARTS CENTRAL) FROM 1946 UNTIL REMOVED IN 1999. AT THAT TIME ALL THE NEON WAS REPLACED AS WELL AS THE BRACKETS/ELECTRICAL ETC ON THE BACK OF THE SIGN. NOTHING WAS TOUCHED ON THE FRONT FACE. ALL THE PORCELAIN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ONLY A VERY FEW CHIPS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE SIGN AT ALL. THIS SIGN IS DATED BACK TO THE’40’S AND IS ALL ORIGINAL AND IS 50 FEET IN LENGTH! THIS IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND LIKE I SAID IS ALL ORIGINAL!! THE SIGN ITSELF IS MADE UP OF (5) 10′ SECTIONS. THE NEON WILL BE REMOVED AND HUNG FROM CHICKEN WIRE IN A CUSTOM BUILT CRATE AND HOPEFULLY ARRIVE UNDAMAGED. WORST CASE SCENARIO ANY DAMAGED NEON TUBES CAN BE REPLACED BY MOST PROFESSIONAL NEON SIGN COMPANIES IN YOUR AREA. THIS WAS MOVED BY A PROFESSIONAL SIGN COMPANY (AVERY SIGN COMPANY) IN SIOUX CITY, IOWA FROM THE ORIGINAL LOCATION (615 WATER STREET, SIOUX CITY, IOWA) TO OUR SHOWROOM WHERE IT HAS PROVIDED A PERFECT NIGHT LIGHT FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.
