He started his company in Baltimore in the early 1900’s and came up with Nichol Kola in the 1930’s. It’s not a nickel, yet it is still “America’s taste Sensation”. Nichol Kola was bought by Coca-Cola in the early 1950s and phased out. Nichol Kola has been brought back to life for a new generation of soda pop enthusiasts and is currently bottled by Orca Beverage Works at their “retro soda facility” in Mukilteo, Washington.
