This is a Police Dept vintage genuine porcelain sign and it is in excellent condition, with vibrant and rich colors just as it had when originally manufactured. STILL has a nice glossy shine as it is actual porcelain. A true collectible piece that displays beautifully. Minor chips in the outer field, as well as some moderate rusting around the mounting holes, as is to be expected from being displayed outside and hanging in the elements. Really, beautiful layers of porcelain. It is USED and was hanging being displayed outside. THIS IS VERY NEAT BECAUSE IT HAS RAT FINK STANDING UP LOOKING AT YOU WITH A CARTOONISH LOOK TO IT. THE BASE ON THIS SIGN IS VERY HEAVY & WOULD BE HARD TO KNOCK DOWN. BIG DADDY ED ROTH AND RATFINK STUFF IS GETTING HARDER & HARDER TO FIND AND THIS IS A VERY RARE FIND WITH THE BASE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
