EXC CON SMALL OLD ANTIQUE VINTAGE AA ENAMEL PORCELAIN ADVERTISING SIGN AUTOMOBILE CAR. Out of my personal collection (see other nice signs I have for sale at the moment as well), this is one of the nicest and most attractive of the original AA group of enamel signs and very collectable being so small and’shield’ shaped. It features a great large image of the old early 1900’s AA Automobile Club Badge in the centre, with the spread wings above, and a nice’chequer’ type edging around the sign. What makes this one so special is the exceptional condition, I don’t think you’ll find better. 7″ (178mm) wide, 9″ (228mm) tall. I would describe as excellent for its age, with only minimal light scratches to the surface and very small dings and rusting around the edges and fixing holes, and retaining the majority of its original sheen – I generally only collected the better condition ones, and I think this one will be amongst the best of this type available if not the best one.
