Advertising their’Howatson’ style crosscut logging saw — the letters and the saw blade are all embossed in the metal — circa 1910s period (I found a picture of this exact type saw in a 1914 Marshall Wells Hardware Catalog) — the sign measures 6 5/8 by about 13 3/4 in. – likely very rare: this is the type of sign you always see on the walls of General Stores in the early real photo postcards of old Western towns. Wear from time — nailed to a board with 12 small nails — two splits along the top edge: 1 3/4 and 2 1/8 in. – looks like it was bent and unbent along the bottom edge as well — — always listing Historical items.
