Toys R Us with the iconic reverse R. Letters are easy to move/transport. They measure roughly 1 in depth. The large R measures almost 6ft tall and 5ft wide! All letters are made of i believe plexy glass with vinyl front cover. Letters are all in good shape with normal fading/wear from years of hanging on a store. They do have some scuffs/marks are arent perfect but overall in good shape. Could me washed/waxed to clean up/brighten the colors. Came off a local store here in Akron Ohio. Message us for details! Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. On the front of the sign there is the larger advertising wording in the center. There is other smaller advertising wording on the sign as well. There is some small print wording in the lower right corner reading Robertson Steel and Iron Co. It measures 29.5 inches wide and 13.5 inches tall. This would be a great decor piece for your beer man cave. RARE VINTAGE TELECHRON ELECTRIC AD CLOCK COMPANY NEON ROTATING MOTORED ADVERTISING CLOCK WITH ROTATING 6 PANEL ADVERTISING DRUM, MADE BY TELECHRON AND ELECTRIC AD CLOCK COMPANY OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. Clock comes from New Hampshire, from the 1920’s – 1930’s. The rotating drum shows 6 different advertisements. The exterior front is wood with a metal surrounding case. The front glass dial is existing and undamaged. Advertisements on drum are in great shape for their age. Instruction label partially existing on the rear. The 3 clock hands are present, but not secured to clock. The neon tubing is missing, a broken tube is shown. Internally, it looks like wires are unattached, needs to be repaired, and as such I have not plugged this in to test it. Please inspect photos to judge completeness and what may or may not be needed to be fixed. Wear and scratches to exterior and paint, flaking of wood. Overall dimensions are approx. 21 1/2″ tall x 14″ wide and is 9 1/2 deep. Please see photos for more accurate description and condition. From the internet: “This is a great old style of advertising clock, which is often referred to as a “Cathedral clock. They have a drum in the lower “window” that displays six different advertisements. The drum is run off the clock motor through mechanical levers and gears. It rotates once every ten seconds. This is one of the coolest things I’ve found in recent months. Just a perfect addition for someone who wants to put in the time and fix it up. With 1965 Top Hits WKTM Radio Light-Up. Advertising Clock – Hartford Wisconsin. Very cool and possibly one of a kind WKTM Radio Station advertising clock. Whats neat about this clock are the songs listed under the 1965 TOP HITS banner. I Can’t Get No Satisfaction – Rolling Stones. Back In My Arms Again – The Supremes. Lonely – Bobby Vinton. (I Can’t Help) Myself – Four Tops. Sunshine and Lollipops (and Rainbows) – Lesley Gore. This clock has a toggle switch which allows you to leave the clock running while turning the light bars On or Off. This way the Synchron clock always keeps the correct time. The DJ only had to glance at the sign to remember the call letters, give the correct time or see what the top hits of the week were…. Pretty handy in the days before computers! Sign housing is steel, sign face is white lexan (or similar plastic). Clock hands are covered with a glass bubble lens. Power cord is a newer replacement. Back cover has a full length hinge for easy access to the 2 florescent bulbs and to set the clock. Measurements: approximately 24″ wide by 15-1/4″ tall by 5 deep. Clock will be properly wrapped and packed with foam peanuts in an over sized. This listing is for a double sided wooden DeKalb “winged ear” advertising sign. The sign measures about 63 1/4″ x 33″ and is 3/4 thick. The sign sits in a bracket that measures 16″ long and 1″ wide. The pipe fitting on the bottom measures 3 in diameter. There is some wear and tear on both sides, one side also having less faded paint. Some wood has cracked off near the bracket. The winged ear is one of the most iconic graphics in agricultural advertising. Please take a close look at all of the photos.
