Vintage John Deere advertising thermometer metal farm tractor sign implement
Kinda wanna keep it but I’m passing it on. Aluminum construction with glass tube. Reads fairly accurate temperature within a degree or two. Thermometer numbers are faded but legible. Great colors and patina for the age. Measures approx 13″ x 4″. Glass tube has been held in place with the help of some kind of putty although the metal keepers are in place. Some dings, paint chips and scapes showing. See pictures for best description. Pmt due at time of sale. I will be listing many more vintage farm related items and toys in the near future. Vintage Original Pepsi Cola Light Refreshment Advertising Thermometer Sign Model M-233 – Made In U. This thermometer looks GREAT! It has nice vibrant color and excellent graphics. The sign has very minor surface wear and is in excellent condition. There is barely any surface, mainly some light surface rust in a few places on the back. There is a faint light brown shadowing around the word Cola on the embossed cap. Not rust or dirt. Does not block the overall graphics. The glass tube has no damage and the thermometer keeps accurate temperature. The slogan at the bottom “THE LIGHT REFRESHMENT”, was used in 1950s. The thermometer measures approximately 27-1/8″ tall by 7 1/8″wide. A nice RARE addition to your collection–in COLLECTOR’S condition. Item is “as found, as shown” condition.
