Barber Pole Antique Vintage Standing Cast Iron 7ft Lighted Spinning Koken. This pole has been stored for the last 50 yrs inside to preserve this rare piece of history. It stood outside my dads shop until a couple kids decided they wanted to chip off some porcelain with a pipe so then it was put away as you can see the chips in the photos. I was going to have it touched up but decided just to sell as I had an estimate of 300 to touch it up. It has the working double light system and spinning interior cylinder. The cylinder is brand new from old stock and still have original box. It also comes with an extra original barber globe. I have included photos to view of my fathers barbershop in Buffalo N. My father always bought 3 of everything just in case- 1 used 2 stored away new- very lucky for me now. He was a barber for over 65 years in the same location so its nice to pass on his passion! The photos are a bit blurred as they were taken off a TV special on my dad. This is a rare find to most avid barber collectibles. The free listing tool. Dates from the turn of the last century circa late 1800s to early 1900s. In very nice age appropriate condition having true authentic age character. Has a glue reinforced split which is very inconspicuous. The hand is missing a couple pin nails which could easily be replaced. Rare Vintage British Leyland Lighted Hanging Sign Jaguar MG Land Rover Mini

A very rare original vintage double sided hanging lighted sign for British Leyland Exhaust Emission Service. A great item for your garage or man cave, for car enthusiasts and fans/owners of Jaguar, Land Rover, MG or Mini. Sign measures inches 10 inches tall by 37.5 long by 4 inches deep. Important Condition Description : Nice cosmetic condition overall with some surface wear and yellowing of the plastic mostly on one side (see photo #4 for the side that has yellowed). No cracks or chips to the plastic (surface wear/scratches here and there only but no gouges or paint loss to the logos). The light does not come on when plugged in. I easily opened the sign by removing the middle metal bracket on the left hand quadrant of the sign in-between the 2 pieces of sign plastic (the plastic sign can then be lifted out in 2 pieces that were held down by the metal bracket). I have replaced the fluorescent tube as well as the starter, but this did not fix the problem. You can hear a pinging noise when plugged in and the starter flashes with the pinging, but the light does not go on – the fluorescent tube glass heats up a little near the ends, so something is getting to the tube, but no light. This sign will come with the new installed tube and starter. The rest will be up to you.
