Vintage Original Apple Macintosh Picasso Framed Poster

If you’re looking at vintage Macintosh items then you certainly recognize Chiat\Day as the genius advertising agency Steve Jobs tasked with knocking the PC industry on their ear. And they did with the award-winning “1984” commercial – shown only once but still revered throughout advertising circles. Two of the creators; Steve Hayden and Lee Clow would walk from Chiat\Day to observe consumer interest and response to the Macintosh. Luckily I recognized the significance of Apple’s rising success and saved many items from that time. This is one of several items I will be auctioning. Only Authorized Apple dealers received this rare and precious framed art and this is over 30 years old. It is an original object provided by Apple – not a reproduction or copy. It hung in our computer store for many years and witnessed the revolution that Apple was leading. The frame is 22 1/4″ wide by 28 1/4″ tall and 3/4 of an inch thick. The frame is made from heavy-duty brushed aluminum and the posted is covered by clear acrylic. The lower right corner features the Apple logo. It has a device on the back to ease wall mounting. It weighs a significant 4 lbs. There are no wrinkles, tears or marks on the poster. I displayed this in my office at the computer software company where I worked for over a decade. It looked beautiful and everyone loved it and commented on its history. I work from home now and don’t have the space to display this beloved item any longer. Seeing and holding these items from the earliest days of the Macintosh is an amazing thing! The graphics, the old Apple logo, the overall creative design are so fun to see in your hand. Check the photos – this is in excellent condition for its age and history. It will be a valuable addition to any Apple enthusiast’s collection. 1967 Original Vintage Vittorio Fiorucci Poster, Humorous Pornography Exhibition

About The Poster: A poster advertising a fictitious exhibition invented by Vittorio called the “Exposition Internationale d’Art Pornographique” or International Pornographic Art Exhibition. Poster is unlined, hand signed and in very good condition. Poster has a very minor crease on top left corner. Vittorio Fiorucci was an Italian Canadian poster artist from Montreal. Fiorucci was born on 2 November 1932 in Zara (Italy). During World War Two when Zara was about to be captured by Yugoslavia, Fiorucci and his family fled to Venice, Italy, where he subsequently spent most of his childhood before coming to Canada in 1951. By 1960, he was an established artist and by 1980 was one of the most renowned poster designers in the world. Fiorucci was awarded a Moebius Award at the 1998 International Advertising Awards of Chicago, and lifetime achievement awards from the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators and the Institute of Design Montréal. Fiorucci worked in a variety of mediums: he did illustration works for magazines (including the film magazine Take One), children’s books, animation, and was an established photographer who was exhibited in 1958 at George Eastman House’s International Exhibition of the World’s Greatest Photographers. His work was used to promote many of the films that marked the beginning of independent Québécois cinema, and appeared in a variety of magazines including Time. He created the logo for the Le Château chain of clothing stores, and the green mascot Victor of the Just For Laughs festival. He died from a stroke on July 30, 2008. 1952 Winchester Dealer Store Advertising Poster Sign Paper Vintage Ad Cool Piece

Rare Winchester firearms advertising poster. It has been cut and framed with the excess wrapped around the back. Condition is fair to poor with rips and wrinkles. Man is it cool though. Very bright colors and no water damage. You will probably never see another. This was the action be lineup for those 2 years. The frame is homemade and not super but once you see this piece its just amazing that it still exists. Its about 78 long and 18 tall. This is a vintage Harley Davidson OHV Motor poster. It says, “Heart of the 61″ and 74 O. Models- World’s Most Popular Motorcycles. It measures 23 1/2″ x 16″. It’s in fair condition, there are no tears but it does have pinholes in the top corners and one in the middle. It looks like water got on the bottom between the words Davidson and Milwaukee but it isn’t wrinkled too much. It also has old tape stains on the back corners. It displays great and the colors are still nice. It will be mailed rolled in a poster tube. Vintage Theo Hamms Beer Brewery Advertising Poster Sign With Bottle Graphic 1940s

1940s Smooth and Mellow logo. On the front of the piece there is the graphic of a Hamms Preferred Beer bottle surrounded by some cheese and cracker platter. There is the advertising wording surrounding the outer ring of the sign with the large hamms logo in the lower left. On the bottom edges of the piece there is some smaller fine print wording. Here is a nice piece that is shrunk wrapped on a hard board. The sign does have some minor edge ware here and there, but nothing that is too distracting from the piece. It measures 17 inches tall and 37 inches long and 12 inches wide. This would be a great decor item for your beer man cave. If you collect restaurant decor signs, Grain Belt Beer, Hamm’s Beer, Schmidt, Duluth Minn, Fitgers, Peoples beer, Superior Wis, man cave decor, wet bar decor etc, Add this nice piece to your collection.
