There is a little surface rust mostly located on back and top. There is a little paint on one side and on door edge. When door is opened the container is a little tweaked but nothing unusual for being thin tin, old, and used. Door stays shut just fine. Not perfect but does display nicely. Weighs only 4.3 ounces.
