VINTAGE ACTION AD BLUE NEON ROTATING ADVERTISING CLOCK WithPAPERS EXC. COND

This particular clock was used only for two days as a demo and then was packed away in its original packing and has remained in the attic all of these years. I plugged it in to see if the clock still worked after lying unused for so long. The neon features immediately lit up brightly, the second hand started moving around the face of the clock, and the advertising cards began to flip over, one at a time, rotating perfectly. So everything works fine. The only flaw that age has caused is the inside of the neon tubes have some small internal bare spots where it looks as if the lining/coating flaked off in a few places (see close-up photos). There also is a tiny bit of rust on the rod for the flip-cards, but it works just fine and is very quiet when it turns. It comes with 5 plain black flip-cards and one that was hand-painted with actual advertisements on both sides by a commercial artist in New Hampshire. The clock is large, nearly two feet in length and a foot tall, weighing over 20 lbs. It is meant to sit on a countertop, table or shelf. Its official name is an “Action Ad” clock and was distributed by the Electric Ad Clock Company in Chicago. The clock number is 10-5902. Thank you for looking!
