Vintage, Original, 1944 Coca Cola Cardboard Sign, Large, WWII era, Our GI Joes

Since my interest is almost exclusively limited to certain Coke advertising pieces, most of the time I will have only one item up for sale at any one time. This sign is protected by an acrylic front and plastic trim, both of which can be easily removed. However, one of the previous owners used a piece of plywood as protective backing (see pic) and the sign seems to be permanently affixed to it. This shouldn’t present a problem for framing, it’s just something I want everyone to be aware of. The sign itself is 56″ x 27″, but measures 56.75″ x 27.75″, in the frame. Vintage Coca Cola, Cardboard, 2 sided sign

The sign measures 36″ X 20″. The sign is in Excellent to Excellent+ condition. There are creases at 2 corners, and there are water stains at the top that show on the Skier side. The water stains would not be visible when in the frame. The flaws are almost imperceptible at normal viewing distance. The surfaces inside of the borders are in near perfect condition with no scratches or scuffs. The sign has printed at the bottom. Snyder & Black N. The frame is a Kay Displays and is also in very good condition. The frame measures approx. This is a very nice and rare Coca Cola collectible. Please study photos for condition issues. Vintage Coca Cola, cardboard sign, 1948

The sign measures 30″ X 50″. The condition would be considered fair to good considering the age. There are surface scratches, and scuffs on various places on the face, and 1 tear on the left side, middle, that extends approx. The tear has been reinforced with clear tape on the back, to prevent further damage. There are numerous paint spots on the back. The sign was used by the bottler for a paint drop. The paint spots on the back do not appear at all on the front. The sign has very nice color, great graphics, and presents very well in spite of the flaws. Please study photos carefully for condition issues. The box measures 32″ X 53″ X 2 and will weigh approx. NY Litho in USA.
