Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. On the front of the sign there is the large red octagon stop sign shape, with the graphic of a man skiing in the center, there is the red line crossing the center indicating no skiing. The bottom of the sign has the wording, Closed on it. The sign has some edge bends, surface scratches and paint ware, but overall still a nice sign. The sign measures about 18 inches wide and 24 inches tall. I do have a white inventory sticker on the sign above the pheasant graphic on the left side. PACIFIC LAGER HEAVY PORCELAIN SIGN/VINTAGE. Sign is heavy porcelain and has rounded edges and a really nice gloss. Minimal chips (note the one at the corner I have pic of) and very little wear at all for a vintage piece. The back does have pitting (see pics) but that’s on the back and no one will see that. Also this does have a bend to it and doesn’t lay flat. All in all a very nice item to add to your collection. WONDERFUL PIECE OF ADVERTISING HISTORY. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1940’S HEAVY BLUE PORCELAIN PHARMACY SIGN BY ACME SIGNAGE. SIGNED ACME ON THE FRONT. THIS PIECE WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH NEON LIGHTING IN IT. THERE REMAINS THE FEW HOLES FROM THE NEON. THE PORCELAIN IS SHINY AND BEAUTIFUL, THE LETTERS ARE BRIGHT WHITE. THIS SIGN IS HEAVY AND VERY LARGE. IT’S JUST SHY OF 9′ (107″) LONG AND 20″ WIDE. SIGN IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. A FEW CHIPS AROUND THE EDGE, BUT OVERALL IN VERY EXCELLENT CONDITION.
