A VINTAGE COCA COLA CAST IRON SIGN BASE AND POST. THIS WAS INSIDE FOR MANY YEARS AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE BASE IS NOT CRACKED OR DAMAGED, JUST A FEW SMALL CHIPS IN THE PAINT, SEE PICS. Circa 1920s, hand made Open Closed folk art store sign. Not including hooks, it measures.. 12 1/4 inches across 9 1/4″ inches top to bottom 1 1/4″ inches thick Due to its ageing I have not taken it apart to clean inside but I’m thinking the inside filler that separates the two sides, sounds like the filling in an old car seat, I’m very curious. The face of each side is a thick plexiglass so i know the signs could be replaced with new, if you choose to do so. It’s fairly heavy, maybe 10 lbs. View the photos, feel free to ask questions. Vintage Double Sided Cast Iron Chemist Light box Sign. Decorative and collectable item. For sale is a wonderfully well aged true vintage 1950s / 60s original outdoor chemist sign. This item is double sided and illuminated (PAT Tested) and re-wired for the modern interior. The item is very large and would have originally been hung outside the main entrance of a local chemist shop in England UK. The item is covered in original vintage white light reflective plastic and has individually cut to size red lettering on both sides. The structure is reinforced with cast iron metal sheets that show aging through wear and tear and rust (this does not affect the structure or functionality of the item in anyway). The 2 hooks are also originally and made from solid cast iron, they shows signs of aging but are very solid and functional ass you would expect. Overall a brilliantly quirky and highly collectable decorative sign, its rare because its a complete original apart from the updated electrics. A real statement piece for any cool retail space, man cave or funky interior industrial space, a real rarity. Aged plastic, light scratches, faded colour, and rust on metal, no breaks or cracks to effect it structurally or functionally. Size: H 15 x L 34 x D 7. Vintage 1930s Art Deco Metal Electric Box Sign HOTEL with Cast Iron Wall Bracket

Large Vintage 1930s Art Deco Metal Electric Lighted Box Sign – HOTEL w/ Original Cast Iron Wall Bracket. Among all the posters, books, maps, pictures, lights, streets signs, etc was this amazing 2-sided “HOTEL” sign hanging in the garage. It was one of his favorite possessions. Tag reads – Underwriters Laboratories Electric Sign # 92873 (see pic). Very Good ++ Condition Works, but I would recommend a safety electrical inspection prior to use – Still retains the original ceramic light bulb bases. Original wiring except main power cord. Nice patina with minimal rust or damage to housing. There is some scratches, fading & weathering along lower borders of both sides (see pics). Bottom corner tips are bent but can easily be re-bent back into position. Embossed Milk Glass letters spelling (H O T E L) illuminating a beautiful glowing light from the internal bulbs (see pics). Approximate Dimensions 28in wide x 15in tall x 6in deep (without bracket). This is a RARE opportunity to own a really nice piece of Hollywood history.
