Here is a very rare, light-up sign advertising Packard Bells Convertible Control Color TV, which I believe was made in the early 1960s. This sign measures about 15 tall and just under 50 wide. The plexi-glass cover looks to be in good condition with just a few faint surface scratches, and the fluorescent tubes light up when I plug them in, but do flicker, so I think they just need to be replaced. This sign would make a great display for the vintage tv collector! If you are in the area, you are also welcome to come pick it up. Here is a sign that you do not come across everyday. The shade of the piece has a fan blade that fits in at the top that sits on a rod in the center, and at the base there is the regular light bulb (which is included). I have the piece mounted on a small table top frame that I made, which can be removed and the piece just hung on the wall with its built in hanger (which is the original way of display). While the shade is on the base, when the bulb heats up, the hot air travels upwards, and then through the fan causing the piece to turn, I have tried it a few times and it goes around just fine. On the shade there are four scenes, one of a northern muskie pike jumping out of the water with a fishing hook in its mouth, the second is a cowboy carrying his saddle in his hands while watching a second cowboy riding a bull at the rodeo, the third is a pair of antelopes grazing in a field, and the fourth is of two pheasants that got roosted up during a hunt out on the farm field as the barn and house are in the background. All of the scenes are signed by the artist Les Kouba, who is known for his paintings, and wildlife scenes, throughout Minnesota. The shade measures 8 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall, the complete piece measures 21 inches tall with the stand. This would be a great decor piece for your beer man cave. RISCH’s BIG BOY LIGHTED CLOCK. The clock is in pretty good shape for its age. It is curved glass. The clock and the setter works good, as well as the LIGHT. The plastic housing condition can be seen pretty well in the photos. There are a few small cracks in the white plastic, and a few scratches, but nothing too bad. The plastic is not brittle. The face has been restored sometime in the past (replaced-there’s really no other way to restore these faces except recreate them). There is one area on the with a minor condition issue on the yellow rim of the face. This can be seen in the photos. Regardless, it does not affect the look of the piece. Total diameter is 17. Vintage Double Sided Cast Iron Chemist Light box Sign. Decorative and collectable item. For sale is a wonderfully well aged true vintage 1950s / 60s original outdoor chemist sign. This item is double sided and illuminated (PAT Tested) and re-wired for the modern interior. The item is very large and would have originally been hung outside the main entrance of a local chemist shop in England UK. The item is covered in original vintage white light reflective plastic and has individually cut to size red lettering on both sides. The structure is reinforced with cast iron metal sheets that show aging through wear and tear and rust (this does not affect the structure or functionality of the item in anyway). The 2 hooks are also originally and made from solid cast iron, they shows signs of aging but are very solid and functional ass you would expect. Overall a brilliantly quirky and highly collectable decorative sign, its rare because its a complete original apart from the updated electrics. A real statement piece for any cool retail space, man cave or funky interior industrial space, a real rarity. Aged plastic, light scratches, faded colour, and rust on metal, no breaks or cracks to effect it structurally or functionally. Size: H 15 x L 34 x D 7.
