This sign is part of my very large FISHTAIL COLLECTION that I’m now completing the last brokered deal with this one, being the last of the multiples of this particular sign version. This Arciform design was created in 1958 by Coca Cola designers. Because of its double inverted fishtail implications, it’s now lovingly referred to as a “FISHTAIL” design by most collectors! Even though its inception was 1958, it saw huge exposure starting in 1960 and ending in 1963. This version with the Coca Cola bottle is one of the rarest, so pay attention! Measuring 31 7/8 inches wide by 12 inches tall, this rare sign weighs in a little under two pounds, as it’s rather thick in construction. Being part of “the herd” for decades has preserved this amazing sign! This sign has never been hung and was never “in service”! The mounting holes are as new! I have provided photographs with the pointer hand denoting the areas of paint loss. This time capsule sign exhibits less than expected wear, inclusive of light oxidation resulting in tiny imperfection dots across the sign, albeit, hardly noticeable unless scrutinized, which is what I’m doing now! , minimal paint loss, see pointer hand photograph- it’s literally one of the nicest 100%, all original signs you’ll ever see!
