You are looking at a made in England around 1915 by BRIFFITNS of Birmingham & London enamel sign company. This porcelain sign is for Hopper’s Cycles. Agent for Duplex, Torpolee, Torpedo, Little Giant bicycles. 18 inch high x 15 inch wide. Makers name on bottom. No repairs, no touch ups, in all original condition. Hopper’s of England started making cycles in 1880. More fading on one side, though both sides are not mint condition due to being so old. Rust damage: see all close up photos. AUTHENTIC, this is not a reproduction, not a fake, not recently made, 100 YEARS OLD. Weighs 4.4 lbs without any packing. Thick steel and porcelain enamel. It has a metal frame that has some deep scratching on the top side and a wood backing and measures approximately 37 x 11.5 inches. No dates or origin markings on the sign.
