THIS SIGN IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION WITH VERY NICE COLOR, GLOSS AND SUBJECT MATTER. THIS SIGN HAS GREAT GRAPHICS OF A EVINRUDE OUTBOARD BOAT MOTOR AS WELL AS 2 FISHERMEN OR BOATERS. THIS SIGN WAS FOUND IN A LARGE ADVERTISING COLLECTION. THIS SIGN MEASURE 12″ BY 8″ AND WEIGHTS ABOUT 2 POUNDS, 2 OUNCES AND IS MADE OF REAL BAKED METAL. THIS DIE-CUT SIGN HAS GREAT COLORS AND GRAPHICS AND IS A GREAT PIECE OF ADVERTISING. Please do your own research as vintage does not necessarily mean original. Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday! Across the top of the sign there is the larger wording of Johnson Outboard Motors across the top. In the lower section of the sign there is the local person advertising. Here is a great original embossed tin sign that has some light surface rust and some minor paint ware, overall a great sign for the collection. I do have a white inventory sticker on the sign to the right of the boat, below the LA wording. The dimensions of the sign are about 19 inches wide and 24 inches tall. Here is a great piece that you do not see everyday! Across the left side of the sign there is the graphics of different flags, with the top half of the sign has a blue background with the wording , Evinrude across the top and the red wording of “First in Outboards” in the center. The lower white section has the dealer information of Bodcau Dales and Service Po Box 201 Cullen LA. The lower center of the sign there is the graphic of an outboard boat that is moving across the water. VTG 1940’s DURO DAN’s BOAT NUMBERS & LETTERS DECALS, METAL DISPLAY CASE ORIGINAL

Chicago Illinois, Boat numbers and Letters. Advertising decals on box are in good shape. 3 decals on the outside and one on the inside opening lid. Box has some rust on sides see pictures for more details. Measure:13-5/8” long x 8-7/8” wide x 7” high. Lots of Black and RED decals including letters , numbers , and signs. General count is approximate. Black letters, Numbers – &. Letter B is missing along with No. 1-4 & some signs on black letters. On red set S&T are missing all numbers are present and some signs missing. These decals are about 78 years old so i dont think they are any good. They might be brittle and glue might not hold well. The soft warm original finish is present with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removal, repairs or. Alterations make this an especially attractive offering. PLEASE CHECK THE PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART. All my items are genuine vintage. That means they have been used, and have the normal wear and tear.
