Circa 1920s, hand made Open Closed folk art store sign. Not including hooks, it measures.. 12 1/4 inches across 9 1/4″ inches top to bottom 1 1/4″ inches thick Due to its ageing I have not taken it apart to clean inside but I’m thinking the inside filler that separates the two sides, sounds like the filling in an old car seat, I’m very curious. The face of each side is a thick plexiglass so i know the signs could be replaced with new, if you choose to do so. It’s fairly heavy, maybe 10 lbs. View the photos, feel free to ask questions.
