Original Vintage Early Antique POST OFFICE Wood Painted Sign Advertising 75

What a fantastic find from Minnesota. Prior owner mentioned sign was from Paynesville, MN. It was one of 3 original signs that were salvaged from a building. Not sure exactly of age? It appears to be from the 50’s, maybe earlier. The building had a Post Office, Garage (Automotive) and a Grocery store. This is solid wood. Not sure what type of wood or what it was previously. The early sign maker recycled what appears to me to me old siding or flooring. Not sure but maybe you can tell by the pictures, especially the reverse side. Its a great piece of history. Measures: 75″ long, 8″ wide and 1.25 thick.

Vintage Early Rare Wadhams Oil Rocker Can /sign Gas Gasoline Nice One

This is a harder one to find in decent condition. The can is all metal and has a handle on top. Both sides have the same wording. The can is in used condition, some paint ware, one side is a bit better than the other. This can measures 17 inches tall and 14 inches wide, and 8.5 inches thick. If you collect signs, gas and oil signs, cans, gas pumps, lubster, Gulf, Valvoline, Mobil, Standard, Texaco, Willard, Ac Delco, Service Station Advertising Display rack, BFGoodrich, Exide Batteries, etc, Add this nice piece to your collection. Antique Self-Framed Egg -O-See Cereal General Store Sign, Original, Early 1900’s

Up for sale is this antique self-framed metal Egg-O-See cereal sign. The sign is backed with a wooden frame and attached with nails. It dates to the early 1900’s-probably no later than 1910. It’s in as is, as found, as photographed, “what you see is what you get” condition. The “frame” is metal with faux wood painting. There are dents, dings, metal loss, rust, paint loss/fade, warps and anything else I may have failed to mention. The scene is a charming one with a little boy sitting at the breakfast table. His beloved dog is on one side and his cats are on the other. In the middle of the table is a box of Egg-O-See cereal. He is looking at the dog and is telling him Dere ain’t gon’er be no leavins. ” There appears to have been some paint touch ups to the “frame area and the mustard yellow border. It may have been exposed to moisture at some point, from what I’m guessing. The Meek Company from Coshocton, Ohio produced this sign. Their name would have been originally printed in the bottom right of the yellow border. These signs are extremely hard to find in any condition. The sign measures about 16 1/2″ wide, 10 1/4″high and is 3/4 thick-deep. It weighs approximately 1 lb. It would be a terrific addition to someone’s early advertising collection or home decor and I hope someone will love it! Thanks so much for looking, God Bless, and happy shopping??

DOUBLE COLA Soda Original Antique SIGN Vintage Framed Old Advertising Early 1940

Hello and thank you for taking your time to view our listing. The sign shown in all photographs is the exact item being offered for sale as shown. Sign is an original very early advertising item from the Double Cola company. As shown on the back of the wood frame, the sign itself has an original old company location label on it from Chattanooga Tennessee. The sign is made of the old hard stock cardboard as most signs were in the early 1940’s time frame due to metal being strictly used for war efforts. We have done extensive research online in regards to finding more information about this particular sign, as well as the possible artist, along with exact date of production. After contacting the actual Double Cola company itself we did determine it to be very early 1940’s, and it is a very rare early advertising piece. Sign comes from the former left over contents of an old general store that went out of business in the mid 1970’s. Thankfully someone thought enough of the uniqueness of the sign to not throw it away with the other left over items. One thing we personally are curious about with this piece is the slogan on the sign, along with the image of what the lady is actually doing. Is it possible she is making reference to cocaine when saying “Substance from Foreign Lands” and she is using a pharmacists mixing tool. Has us wondering exactly what is going on and what the sign is implying. We personally love the sign ourselves and it’s unique and rareness. Original Historic Harley-Davidson BRICK Motorcycle antique early vtg gift HD

Bricks are of random appearance; each is significantly different from all the rest. There is lots of individual character. No two are the same! The one(s) pictured are not the actual one(s) you’ll be getting, but they will be in the similar condition as pictured. Look at my feedback; people LOVE these! They make super, super gifts folks! Depending upon which one(s) we choose to send you, the plaque might be centered, or it might be moved around to one side or the other depending upon if there is something cool on the brick we don’t want to cover up!! Once in a while we even run across some cool yellow ones too! What a GREAT gift!!! What a unique item, what a great cause. Soldiers Dale Beatty and John Gallina were injured in a Humvee in Iraq in 2004. Dale lost both legs, John suffered traumatic brain injuries. They could have chosen to respond any way to these disabling injuries, but they chose to not allow their injuries hold them back. They founded Purple Heart Homes, and in fact were pictured on the cover of TIME in 2011 under the caption “The New Greatest Generation”. Dale unexpectedly passed away last year due to compilcations from his injury, but John and their team strongly carries on in his name. Both shied away from individual recognition, but are rightfully-so proud of their charity and what it has done for our veterans. The charity fixes up houses to help our veterans out – they build ramps, widen doorways, insulate, install new electric, hot water heaters, and much more – at NO COST to the veteran! It is all funded from donations. They also have a program where they refurbish entire homes and sell them to the veteran at 50% of the home’s value. What a great program! We’ve completed 8 projects locally so far!! Now, the history of the bricks… An addition was built in 1918 at the original Harley-Davidson Milwaukee, WI, plant. Around 2002 the wing was knocked down and put into storage at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Each comes with a letter of authenticity which tells the story and chain of control of the bricks. Each beautiful COA on heavy gloss paper is signed and has an individually numbered hologram attached. What a great gift folks…. What a great cause… Its a win-win, that’s for sure.
