CRAVEN “A” TOBACCO CIGARS FRAMED PORCELAIN SIGN. Extremely scarce porcelain version of this cigar sign featuring wonderfull colors and a caption reading Will Not Affect Your Throat. Frame is very solid wood and the sign is very heavy, Approx 25 lbs. SIZE: Approx 5 Feet Wide. CONDITION: Sign grades very good; close examination reveals scattered light surface pitting with very strong colors still present. The raised frame is in very good condition with not Rot or Cracks. RECRUIT CIGARS FRAMED TIN SIGN. Extremely scarce tin version of this cigar sign featuring a U. Cavalry recruit in blue cloak, captioned Best Nickel Cigar In The World. Frame marked Recruit and 5c. SIZE: Image: 22 w x 28 h. CONDITION: Sign grades very good to excellent; close examination reveals scattered light surface pitting which appears to have had some professional color touch up. The raised frame has been nicely repainted in a few spots, small crack at lower right rim.
