Here is a vintage style advertising sign for “PETER WRIGHT ANVILS” of Dudley England. These are hand painted and then go through a process for the aged look.. Designed to replicate the advertising you would see in the local hardware during the height of the competitive anvil market in the late 1800’s thru the early 1900’s. Made from 3/8 thick plywood, then trimmed with 1×2’s. Measures 24″ tall by 36″ wide and weighs 8 to 9 pounds. D Rings are mounted on the back and its ready for display in your shop or as part of your blacksmith anvil collection. These are made on a limited bases, so get yours now.. Vintage OLD 1920’s Valley Forge Military Academy wood trade sign, not porcelain. A very incredible 1 of a kind hand carved Valley Forge Military Academy trade sign made of wood.. I believe some of this has been repainted And some paint is original I also believe its date from the. Small chips missing , there are some cracks cracking in the paint but the overall patina is great…. Refer to close up photos. These issue are expected from a sign that hung outside… The person i bought it from told me he thought it was taken down many years ago, however not sure of exact date….
