It exhibits a very patriotic theme with overall colors of red, white, blue and some black. The sign measures approximately 193″ (16’+) long and approximately 26″ tall. This Double Sided Restaurant Neon sign is all original and is for sure from an era gone by. It is in the original patina that has not been restored. The Neon is gone but there is definitely a story in this sign. You can imagine there were more than one name of this restaurant as the Top area has been painted over and the neon configuration modified. The Restaurant font gives the impression this was a campground or outdoors type of feel to the place. The sign measures 32 high, 6 wide, 11 deep. There are the original hanging brackets that are bolted to the top. True Americana that would look good as is in a kitchen or another restaurant. This one is a bit of mystery to me, its heavier steel than other examples and lacks the traditional holes along the edges so it has holes someone drilled into the middle to hang it from. I bought it from a older gentleman than was a frequent Kennywood visitor in his younger age. He said he recalls these signs hanging around Pennsylvania as a kid. 28inches long, Original condition. I was informed they all had similar holes as they were attached to telephone poles in the area.
