RARE 1982 Vintage Best Western advertising Sign from hotel worldwide lodging. This was taken from a 1982 hotel and was on the wall as advertisment. These are very rare and don’t come across often. I believe this is wood composite on part of it or all of it and the front possibly some form of foam that hardens as it’s very lightweight. Measures approximately 23 in by 15 in. Overall in great shape for its age but there are some nicks and paint coming off in small places as shown in photos please inspect those before purchasing as part of the description.

VTG 1940s Hotel or Motel Lighted Raymond M. Price R. M. P Halo Counter Sign/ Rooms

Here is a wonderful old lighted Motel Rooms sign. This sign was produced by Ramond M Price Inc. It is reverse painted glass and lighted. The style of sign is a halo or bar back style and sat on a counter or bar. This company was known for its brewery halo signs like Pabst and others. P Produced other advertising like cash register signs and clocks. They also produced lighted signs for other businesses. A Hotel or Motel ordered this sign from them. We do not have any idea what business it was or what city. There is some paint loss on the glass as well as other parts of the light along with a little patina in spots. The socket is original but the chord has been changed and there is no on off switch so a inline switch would be needed if so desired. We just had the light on a timer and never needed a switch. We used a 15 watt appliance bulb and it seemed to work good and not get to hot. The light does not come with the bulb.. The sign measures 9 inches tall by 10.5 inches wide. Included in the listing are photos showing the hotel, the sign hanging, once down, after the sign had been repainted and the end result after neon. Also included is a document showing stating the sign was installed on the building in 1938. Sign was restored to it’s original colors and we think original colored neon. CAFE flashes off and on. For sale is a very cool early STAR sign. This star has early porcelain sockets. Some of the metal needs to be rebent as some has curled up and had some issues from the years. It does need rewiring so I never was able to even test this. I have no clue if this was off an old hotel, gas station, theater or something else. Regardless, this could be great fixed up. RARE OLD ORIGINAL”BATHERS USE REAR ENTRANCE” REVERSE GLASS GOLD FOIL METAL ENCASED BATH HOUSE SIGN. If this sign could only speak. This sign dates from the 1920s and although its exact origin is unknown, it obviously was from a shore point bath house or boarding house establishment of some type or there is even a good chance it was from a house of ill repute of sorts. That said, its extremely rare and ive never seen another even close. These were usually custom made at the time to accommodate the need. This sign measures 12” x 4 3/4” and is in 100% all original untouched condition as the day it was found. There is some over paint on the edges which could easily be removed if desired but i decided to leave it untouched. Also, there are no cracks to the glass at all. The KONETA HOTEL SIGN from Wapakoneta Ohio. Item is 2 sided, porcelain. A few, small chips, on both sides, due to falling off building, during a 1940 thunderstorm. New neon can be added, or, item can be left as-is. That’s me, in the white t-shirt, a few minutes, after it was found. Because I didn’t want to risk potential damage (from items already in my trailer), I drove to Williamsburg, Virginia, the following week, to pick it up. Item has been on display, at a local restaurant, for free, since March, of 2016. New owner must contact restaurant owner, to negotiate a convenient, and safe removal time.
