All I’ve done to these signs is clean with Windex and take pics the next day. Judging by the weight the transformers must still be inside. Any questions just ask. Original Vintage Chevrolet Dealership Sign Advertising Neon. This a rare Original Authentic Chevrolet outdoor Bow tie sheet metal – neon – plastic / acrylic sign , nice patina. There is normal corrosion, a chip on the acrylic is not visible when metal frame is attached. I received this with the aluminum support beams that the previous owner attached for safer transportation. I Decided not to remove them for the pictures, due to a prior bad experience with old neon. They appear as shadows in the pictures with it lit up. Overall the sign is in very nice shape. There is a plug attached with wire nuts. When the neon is lit up it makes typical buzzing noise. Approximately 62 long 24 tall. Mounting bolts on the rear and bottom of the sign. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please dont hesitate to ask! VTG Original Breakfast Neon Diner Restaurant Sign Restored Rebuilt Galvanneal

This sign was completely rebuilt around the 2 “Breakfast” faces that were a recent barn find. Red neon is all new, as is the entire can and transformer. The faces were hand painted on galvanneal, which paint notoriously peels from. For this reason, both sides have been coated with a clear satin enamel to prevent further peeling. As you can see from the photos, the paint on one side has peeled considerably more than on the other. The faces are most likely from the late 50s, early 60s. Sign is double sided, and measures approx. 14″ tall (not including eye hooks), 8″ deep (no including glass), and 4′ wide. Please contact me with any questions before purchasing. NPI or Neon Products Inc of Lima Ohio backlit advertising sign can with a reverse painted Levi’s denim glass insert. Can measures 25 3/4″ long x 7 3/4″ tall x 4 1/4 deep. Offered as found, uncleaned, and unrestored. Turns on when plugged in. Partial label intact on back of can. Piece of foam wedged in between right hand fluorescent fixture and can to keep it in place, because plastic is cracked. Wrinkle paint on can appears to be a really dark blue. Cord is brown plastic. A couple of top screw holes have been enlarged and one is double drilled. Additional pictures and measurements available upon request. All sales are final. The set is missing the F and i to complete the firestone. The letter could be made by a pro etal fab guy and porcelained. It would probably cost a bunch though. Hoping someone out there has the rest. About half the glass round insulators are gone, it feels like some of the letters have the transformers in them, a couple of letters have bent parts, see pics. Letters stand about 2 feet tall each and about 16-18 wide. Letters have some latex paint (red) on them. Letters are solid white once paint is removed. Clinton Street was a mile stretch of taverns, boutiques, and attractions in Binghamton’s First Ward starting in late 1800’s to present. Today Clinton Street is known for its many antique shops and attractions. This” One of a Kind” jewel was a fixture on the exterior of the Union Hotel circa 1888 from the 1940’s through 1970’s until it fell in need of total repair, was removed from the building and stored. The result was breathtaking!!! Back to all it’s Glory in it’s rare tri-colors of green, orange, pink… This jewel would make a statement in any space, loft, industrial setting…. Truly a wonderful piece of neon on steel hand crafted 1940’s Americana. Sign is double sided and wired currently for 110v and has 3 prong plug. Mazda was a trademarked name registered by General Electric (GE) in 1909 for incandescent light bulbs. The name was used from 1909 through 1945 in the United States by GE and Westinghouse. Mazda brand light bulbs were made for decades after 1945 outside the US. The company chose the name due to its association with Ahura Mazda, the transcendental and universal God of Zoroastrianism whose name means light of wisdom in the Avestan language. In 1909 the Mazda name was created for the tungsten filament light bulb. GE promoted the mark as identifying tungsten filament bulbs with predictable performance and life expectancy. GE also licensed the Mazda name, socket sizes, and tungsten filament technology to other manufacturers to establish a standard for lighting. Tungsten-filament bulbs of the Mazda type were initially more costly than carbon filament bulbs, but used less electricity. Often electrical utilities would trade new lamps for consumers’ burned-out bulbs. In at least one case the authority regulating energy rates required the utility to use only tungsten bulbs so as not to inflate customer’s energy use. The company dropped the campaign in 1945. GE’s patents on the tungsten filament lamp expired in the late 1930s and other forms of lighting were becoming more important than incandescent bulbs. 77,779 expired in 2000.
