VINTAGE 1950’s “ORANGE CRUSH SODA” METAL ADVERTISING SIGN. MEASURES (16″x 3″) AND MADE OF THICK GAUGE PAINTED METAL. SIGN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH BRIGHT VIBRANT COLOR AND WONDERFUL GRAPHICS. IT’S MARKED THE PARKER METAL DECO CO. AT THE LOWER FRONT RIGHT CORNER. HAS A FEW VERY MINOR PAINT CHIPS, MAINLY ON THE OUTER EDGE. SIGN HAS BEEN VERY WELL CARED FOR AND YOU’D BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A NICER ONE. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HARDER TO FIND SIGN THAT DISPLAYS WELL. This is a harder one to find in decent condition. The can is all metal and has a handle on top. Both sides have the same wording. The can is in used condition, some paint ware, one side is a bit better than the other. This can measures 17 inches tall and 14 inches wide, and 8.5 inches thick. IT DOES LAY RELATIVELY FLAT. MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 19 X 27 INCHES. STILL HAS SOME GOOD COLOR AND SHINE. SOMEONE RESCUED THIS JUST IN TIME. OVERALL ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE SOME ISSUES. IT HUNG OUTSIDE A CHRYSLER/MOPAR PARTS WHOLESALER (MOTOR PARTS CENTRAL) FROM 1946 UNTIL REMOVED IN 1999. AT THAT TIME ALL THE NEON WAS REPLACED AS WELL AS THE BRACKETS/ELECTRICAL ETC ON THE BACK OF THE SIGN. NOTHING WAS TOUCHED ON THE FRONT FACE. ALL THE PORCELAIN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ONLY A VERY FEW CHIPS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE SIGN AT ALL. THIS SIGN IS DATED BACK TO THE’40’S AND IS ALL ORIGINAL AND IS 50 FEET IN LENGTH! THIS IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND LIKE I SAID IS ALL ORIGINAL!! THE SIGN ITSELF IS MADE UP OF (5) 10′ SECTIONS. THE NEON WILL BE REMOVED AND HUNG FROM CHICKEN WIRE IN A CUSTOM BUILT CRATE AND HOPEFULLY ARRIVE UNDAMAGED. WORST CASE SCENARIO ANY DAMAGED NEON TUBES CAN BE REPLACED BY MOST PROFESSIONAL NEON SIGN COMPANIES IN YOUR AREA.
