A cool vintage lighted, 2 sided, BAR sign from a neighborhood bar in Philadelphia. The sign is 3 aluminum box letters with acrylic sheet letters on a galvanized steel frame. The sign is 64 1/8″ tall x 32″ wide overall and 8 deep. The letter boxes are 18 1/2 square. The sign was originally lighted with circular neon tubes but we have rewired it and fitted the boxes with LED lights. It is very sturdy and easy to mount on a wall. Wonder how much a beer was? Large 6ft original Firestone sign awesome patina. I’m unsure of the exact year of manufacture but I would estimate it being a 1950’s-1960’s sign based on others I have seen. The size of this is very impressive as it was on the side of a dealership external wall. Perfect decor for a commercial or residential environment. The size has some surface rust but it’s very stable and nowhere is rusted through. It’s a very solid sign. Length – 71 1/4. Width – 23 1/4. This is a beer drinker whirligig. The whirligig man would drink his beer as the wind would blow, his bottle would raise and lower. The blades that drove the gears that made him move are gone, we have added a crank handle to move the man. The man is cut out of wood and painted with a old surface, note the marble used for an eye. The beer sign is painted on tin with a nice old surface. The frame is iron as are the gears, there are oil pots on the movements to keep him operating smoothly. He is mounted on an iron stand with 11 legs, he stands very sturdy. A large amazing piece of folk art all hand made but done very well. The condition of both painted sides is very good, he must not have been outside for an extended period. The whirligig is 40 3/4″ long x 48″ tall and the wood is 7/16 thick. A piece of Folk Art or Outsider art if you will but a very interesting subject. Definitely a one of a kind piece made sometime in the early to mid 1900’s. Possibly stood outside a pub or stumble bar to entice patrons to enter. Vintage Basketball Scoreboard Working Condition Shipping Available

This is a vintage Basketball Scoreboard from New Jersey. It is a blue Guard model that is rare and dates to 1950. This one has a great look and comes with the original control box. We have rewired the board to get it fully operational. The scores change with a wonderful electromechanical noise. The buzzer works, the periods can be changed, the clock keeps time and there is a 1 minute warning light that can be lighted, all from the control box. Not only can this one be dated by the classes that donated it but it is marked inside with a maintenance tag. The scoreboard is 72 1/2″ long x 33″ high and 12 deep. It can be hung from two iron hooks on the top. The scoreboard weighs about 100 lbs. We have rewired it to function and replaced the light bulbs with new ones. I have a short video that can be emailed to show it in operation, available upon request. As one of our specialties these scoreboards are popular with all different types of peoples.
