Vintage Hanging Coca-cola Coke Lighted Double Sided Advertisement Sign. Sept 20, 2021 UPDATE. It is in my way in the building its in. If i set it outside the squirrels will have a hay day… So if you want it whole you better jump this week. Six tube lights inside panels slide out of frame upon removal of side frame wall. Riverside Produce is on the advertisement panels. Coca cola on top panels with one panel broken but I have the pieces. The center is clear ovals with blue and green star/diamond retro 3D insert in the center. It is 7 foot by 6 foot with center loop and corner hook hangers. Frame is coated metal inside with aluminum frame wrap on outside. Not sure if lights work but was working when it was taken down back in the late 80’s early 90’s. The wire is there to spice coming out of the sign. The lexan panels need wax or whatever on them to bring the cokes back to luster. The middle retro cicular is still smooth and shiney. The white is yellowed from sun and age. The pics show both sides, inside with bulbs, and hooks and broken section and last pic is a girl to show size of sign. NEED MOVED – PRICE LOWERED!! RARE VINTAGE 1950s COCA-COLA ILLUSION COUNTERTOP ROUND LIGHT-UP SIGN PRICE BROS

RARE VINTAGE 1950s ILLUSIONS DRINK COCA-COLA COUNTERTOP LIGHT-UP SIGN BY PRICE BROTHERS INC. – CHICAGO and NEW YORK — PATENT NO. Here is a unique, mid-century, round lighted Coca-Cola countertop sign. It measures 11¼ inches in diameter and has a glass front cover (later versions may have had a plastic front cover) and a gold plastic front piece surrounding the glass, all mounted to a metal housing. The glass cover has a large circular red emblem with white printed words “DRINK COCA-COLA” and much smaller words in black print: TRADE MARK ®. Outside the red circle with the Coke logo are greenish-yellow, green and blue vertical pin-stripe circular bands. When the sign is plugged in, as you walk by or change your position, the display appears to move, vibrate or strobe because of the striped pattern within the bands. Note: there are no moving parts; it’s just an illusion. The back says For use with one 25 watt daylite incandescent lamp on 110-120 volt current only. There is also the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Inspection decal for an electric sign. This decal shows some wear and there are wear marks on the back metal housing. I have not opened the hinged section on the back, but that is where the bulb goes. The cord is more than 88 long. Overall, this sign is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips, as shown. Here’s some background on Price Bros. As excerpted from founder and advertising pioneer Louis Prices obituary published in January, 1999: Louis E. Price’s mark on Chicago is visible from the bronze plaques adorning Loop banks and the Wrigley Building to the illuminated Hamms and Budweiser ads behind neighborhood bars. Price was a Russian immigrant who in 1926 founded Price Brothers Inc. Price came to the United States when he was 10. He founded Price Brothers alone, but used “brothers” in the company name because it sounded more professional. At the start of World War II, the company, to support the war effort, began manufacturing coatings to camouflage walkie-talkie antennas. Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description. There are no odors on this piece and it has lived in my pet-free, smoke-free home for several decades. 1950’s Vintage Coca-Cola Tin Round Button “Drink Coke In Bottles”. I noticed when i lay it down, its NOT FLAT, it would need a heavy book layed on it to get it correct flat. I will sell as found. May have been repainted at one time, really not sure, and it looks like a paint run on the backside. Check it out in my photos. Marked A M 7 51 as i photo a picture of it. A very nice double sided vintage Drink Coca-Cola Ice Cold, advertising flange sign. Sign is in very good condition with some wear and a few small scratches. The main circle of the sign looks hand painted and may have been repainted at some point in time but looks excellent. Bottom is marked A-M 4-51. Underneath “Coca Cola” sign is also marked Reg. Item measures approximately 22″ X 19″ and is a heavier gauge steel so it has some heft to it. Please see all pictures to help determine condition as they are part of the description.
