Vintage Official Retail Store Light Up Sign Nintendo 64 N64 Collectible Rare

Vintage N64 Light up sign. Measures 24 x 21 x 5.5. These were distributed to video gaming stores in the late 1990s at promotion for Nintendo 64. This was hanging in a retail game store the last 20 years or so. Brand new fluorescent bulbs. This sign can easiy be serviced in the future by removing one of the side panes and sliding out the acrylic and vinyl front to gain easy access to light bulbs and ballast. Please note that it is missing one of the screws on the side panel. Some of the vinyl shows wear when you look at it close up. Both the lighted side, and the metal, non lighted side have scuffs and signs of light wear. It looks like the plug may have been replaced. The power cord measures approximately 9 feet. This is an original porcelain sign that was displayed as one of piggly wigglys advertising signs back in. I believe it was 1960s. It measures 42 inches in diameter, and has no touch-ups. Would be a great piece for a collector of advertising, oil and gas, grocery, or just rare items. This is the real deal, not fake like the mess put on here from India. It has two spots, one on each cheek, that line up with the brackets on the backside. Thats it, the rest is in great shape. Feel free to make an offer. Large Antique Vintage Collectible Cola Display Sign. Very Rare Advertisement

I believe this sign is very rare because I have never seen another. I have had it for about 25 years and it was in an attic for at least 25 years prior to that. The picture of the stamps are on the back of the sign. The Railway Express Agency has not existed for a long time. I do not know what the sign is made of, but have been told that it’s probably masonite. I do not think that it’s tin, but rather some kind of plastic. Also, the sign is enclosed in a wood frame.
