Here is a great piece that you do not see often, in such a large size. I have decided to sell it along with a few other pieces I have collected. On the front side of the sign there is the larger wording of Standard Oil Company white lettering, on a cobalt blue background. Here is a great sign to add to the collection, the sign has some minor finish ware, and a couple small porcelain chips, overall still a great sign for display. The sign measures 120 inches wide and 12 inches tall (10 foot wide and 1 foot tall). How shall we drink our Dr. Or the middle section, which I always took to mean it could be my personal choice. Pepper Thermometer – Very Nice – Pam Clock Company NY. Tabs on back can be bent out to attach at top, bottom, right or left. Some spots of corrosion on the aluminum, especially on the top. A few pinprick sized flecks of dirt inside of the domed glass, but not visible unless you are very close. Temperature is accurate within a few degrees. Up for consideration is a double neon clock from the Electric Neon Clock Company. Clock is vintage but not one of the early / original models from what I’ve been told. Both pink & blue neon tubes work. Electrical chord needs fastened to the housing (pulls in & out). I do have the wall mounting bracket (not pictured). Clear & white face is all plastic. Minor wear & tear all around. No other notable issues. 30 minutes from Flint, and 45 minutes from Ann Arbor or Lansing. Measures 15 1/4″ square and about 4″ deep. When first plugged in clock ran backwards for a few minutes. Kept perfect time for overnight. Clock is NOISY, maybe an easy fix. Metal frame shows oxidation from storage. Concave glass face looks good, no cracks. Access plate was repaired on time with a rivet.
