This statue plaque was produced by a company from California called Setmakers. McDonald’s had contracted Setmakers to produce all of their whimsical restaurant decor. This Setmakers statue plaque is in 100% original condition. The colors are vibrant and the finish is glossy. It measures at about 25 inches long and about 20 inches wide. It has mounting holes on the back so it can be hung on the wall proudly. The bottom of the item has the Setmakers stamp. This statue plaque has sat in storage since the 1980’s. It’s been handled with love and care. This piece originally belonged to a franchise owner. Throughout his historic career, he owned a total of 14 McDonald’s franchises. These locations were throughout the Midwest. As his business grew so did his collecting obsession. Eventually he finished with an incredible treasure trove of McDonalds playground items. In which the President of Setmakers Duane Ament was in attendance. We are proud and honored to offer you this historic piece of McDonalds advertising history. ? GE General Electric Antique vintage plaque logo brass12 inch 1940s Railroad. What we have here is a logo made by General Electric. It is 9 lb of solid brass and my understanding is they will be mounted on locomotives and other pieces of heavy equipment. From around the 1940s, possibly earlier.. Great condition no chips or cracks. This is the large one 12 in, it has a serial number on the back. If you want you can easily reference these online, there is a good bit of information about them. The other items are included in this sale also. The small brass plaque I believe is from the 1920s. You can reference that online also. The ashtray I have never seen and cannot find one like it online. It’s really an awesome piece that would go great with any gas oil or advertising collection.. This listing is for a vintage “Chicago” cast aluminum plaque. This plaque came from a man who worked for the Atlas Casket Company who said he acquired it from a friend who worked for the Chicago Casket Co. I can’t say for certain if this sign had anything to do with the Chicago Casket Co. I could only find one other one like it online (screenshot in the photos) and they are asking quite a bit for it. Either way, it’s a really great sign. Measures roughly 15 3/4″ in length and 6 1/2″ in height and weighs almost 5 pounds.
