Absolutely stout and strong with no damage at all. Hand painted details are great! Very colorful, very intact. A really cool survivor! No cracks, no breaks, no repairs at all. 22 Vintage Antique Double Neon Car Trade Dealership Clock Advertising Sign 1930
You’re looking at a vintage double neon “JOHN HOWARD’S CAR STORE” car dealership double neon clock in excellent working condition and dating to approx the 1930s. This item came out of an auto dealer in Pennsylvania (and from memory, I believe it was Allentown). Some time during the 1980s, I’m assuming they created a hand-painted label to cover part of the face of the clock (which is much earlier). Both the inner and outer neon fire up straight away and are free from damage or repair. Both the chain switch and the clock movement have been professionally replaced. The knob to set the time is also working very well. There is one small crack in the glass (as pictured) but it’s barely noticeable. This item is ready to be hung on your wall and enjoyed. Vintage Folk Art Handcarved/Painted Wooden Decoy Fish Advertising Trade Sign. This is for a fantastic vintage folk art hand carved & hand painted wooden fish. Has terrific hand painted detailing along with a great carved out “GONE FISHING” on one side only. Does have hanging eye hooks installed on top side of fish. It measures approximately 19 3/4 inches length by 5 3/4 inches height by 1 1/2 inches thick. It has wonderful folk art appeal. It is in great vintage condition. Does have one sliver of wood missing on rear fin on one side. Doesn’t show from opposite side. Great decor for trophy room, man cave, camp, cottage & avid fisherman. RARE EARLY ANTIQUE OLD ORIGINAL”OFFICE” POINTING FINGER WOOD TRADE SIGN. Metal lettering and pointing finger on painted solid wood board. Measures 17 1/8” x 9 3/4”. Dates from the turn of the last century circa late 1800s to early 1900s. In very nice age appropriate condition having true authentic age character. Has a glue reinforced split which is very inconspicuous. The hand is missing a couple pin nails which could easily be replaced. Stunning graphic old vintage used brass metal shape of an old Paris advertising outdoor post. Inside is a wind up music box. SUZE is a French apertif. La Vie En Rose is the tune this wind up music box plays. It works well and the sound is perfect. 10 inch high with 4 1/2 inch wide base, when top is pulled up it is 14 inch high Weighs 1.3 lbs without packing. Still in working condition, the bottom crank winds the spring motor easily and when the top tray is pulled up to access cigarettes the beautiful sweet sounding music plays. 5 of the metal cigarette chrome holders are loose. Some tarnishing to the brass finish. Paper external label has some parts rubbed off: in overall fair condition. Suze is a pleasingly bitter French apéritif made from the gentian root.
