Stunning graphic old vintage used brass metal shape of an old Paris advertising outdoor post. Inside is a wind up music box. SUZE is a French apertif. La Vie En Rose is the tune this wind up music box plays. It works well and the sound is perfect. 10 inch high with 4 1/2 inch wide base, when top is pulled up it is 14 inch high Weighs 1.3 lbs without packing. Still in working condition, the bottom crank winds the spring motor easily and when the top tray is pulled up to access cigarettes the beautiful sweet sounding music plays. 5 of the metal cigarette chrome holders are loose. Some tarnishing to the brass finish. Paper external label has some parts rubbed off: in overall fair condition. Suze is a pleasingly bitter French apéritif made from the gentian root. RARE OLD ORIGINAL”BATHERS USE REAR ENTRANCE” REVERSE GLASS GOLD FOIL METAL ENCASED BATH HOUSE SIGN. If this sign could only speak. This sign dates from the 1920s and although its exact origin is unknown, it obviously was from a shore point bath house or boarding house establishment of some type or there is even a good chance it was from a house of ill repute of sorts. That said, its extremely rare and ive never seen another even close. These were usually custom made at the time to accommodate the need. This sign measures 12” x 4 3/4” and is in 100% all original untouched condition as the day it was found. There is some over paint on the edges which could easily be removed if desired but i decided to leave it untouched. Also, there are no cracks to the glass at all. 6 Long Original Antique Double Sided Neon Optometrist Trade Sign. Sign dates to the 1910s / 1920s. Wigdor on each side and one side says Eyes Examined. Measures 6 ft x 35 tall x 13 deep. Overall very nice condition and structurally sound for its age. One side has a little bit more paint loss than the other. There are a couple small rust hole spots that I took a close up of in the last two photos. A couple of the glass insulators are not in place but are down inside the sign. I would estimate the weight to be about 150 pounds. Two people can easily move it. This is a true American trade sign. Will be the center of any advertising collection when the neon is re done. Rare Vintage 1900s American Outdoor storefront Hanging Jeweler Trade Sign. Ive owned this fantastic piece for over 40 years and its in terrific condition for its age. Remarkably intact and attributed to the ed. This is a 19th century antique American outdoor storefront hanging jeweler or. This piece is a double-sided pocket watch advertising sign which features an ornamental cast iron bezel adorned with surrounding embossed letter banners interspersed with floral rosettes. The intact fluted crown and bow or stationary ring are original. Weve replaced the glass with new old stock and had it repainted to match the original. The lettering was also touched up by a period artist. I do have the original hand painted glass (see pictures) the hand-painted clock face, featuring black enameled roman numerals with hour and minute hands, and is comprised of pressed zinc. The clock also lights up and was rewired for safety. The original gilded finish applied to the bezel and banners are fully intact. There is some minor surface wear, discoloration, chipping, etc. Increasingly hard to find these watch trade signs with the original i. This is an outstanding piece. Ive seen one other but this one is in much better condition. This piece also has what I believe to be the original hanging bracket. The item is extremely heavy over 75 lbs.
