VTG 1940s Hotel or Motel Lighted Raymond M. Price R. M. P Halo Counter Sign/ Rooms

Here is a wonderful old lighted Motel Rooms sign. This sign was produced by Ramond M Price Inc. It is reverse painted glass and lighted. The style of sign is a halo or bar back style and sat on a counter or bar. This company was known for its brewery halo signs like Pabst and others. P Produced other advertising like cash register signs and clocks. They also produced lighted signs for other businesses. A Hotel or Motel ordered this sign from them. We do not have any idea what business it was or what city. There is some paint loss on the glass as well as other parts of the light along with a little patina in spots. The socket is original but the chord has been changed and there is no on off switch so a inline switch would be needed if so desired. We just had the light on a timer and never needed a switch. We used a 15 watt appliance bulb and it seemed to work good and not get to hot. The light does not come with the bulb.. The sign measures 9 inches tall by 10.5 inches wide. 1940’s Goodrich 13 X 11 Green Porcelain Sign Light Industrial Gas Station VTG. Goodrich/Appleton made thousands and thousands of gas station lights, every one of them being of high quality. They often used advance engineering to improve their ease of use. For example, this shade lowers for cleaning with a simple turn of the shade. The larger 11 X 13 inch. Shape casts light casts light a bit wider than a round shade. Perfect for an old Standard Oil or Sinclair sign. The shade has a few chips here and there, nothing too distracting. The fitter performs perfectly and allows the shade to be lowered with ease. The socket is also a push and twist away from being brought out for inspection. The wiring is hi-temperature rated and new. The 12″ pipe as well as the age-appropriate NOS 4″ diameter raised wall mount are new. I will include the wire-nuts, might save you a trip to the hardware store. UP FOR SALE IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY SCARCE ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1940s COCA-COLA SPRITE BOY KAY DISPLAY MASONITE WOOD SIGN WITH 12 PAINTED METAL TIN BUTTON (NOT PORCELAIN). This Item Came Out Of The Dawson’s & Steven’s Coca-Cola Soda Pop Bottle Cap Museum Grayling, Michigan. The sign has brand new screws on both sides of the button and 4 new screws on the backside as well. The wood and masonite are in good condition but the sprite boy decals have some flaking issues along with the grey paint which dripped on it. There is a tiny chip to the bottom of the button edge where the oval hole was at and also a dent on the top middle edge with a tiny spot of paint loss which i have shown you a close up photo of in the very last picture provided.
