1 Benjamin 14 Gooseneck Porcelain Sign Light Industrial Gas Station VTG 2 AVAIL. These big green guys are all in good shape. ALL of them have one or two chips in the porcelain that shows both top and bottom. Having said that, they are top-of-the-line Benjamins. The fitter, with original green paint, is constructed of heavy cast-iron (my favorite part, these are rare) and the shades are heavy with a rolled and sealed edge! The lights are easily adjustable as the shade will turn with the loosening of a set screw. The sockets are brand new and UL Listed and standard household size. I’ve added a 1 1/4 solid aluminum extension to the fitter to push the bulb out where it needs to be to perform as intended. Today’s bulbs are much shorter than when these lights were produced in the 1930’s. Use any bulb you’d like, LED’s included. I’ve added a ground wire, Pass Your Inspections! The goosenecks are hand-produced by a retired electrician in West Virginia, NOBODY does it better! I’m not sure how he does it but they are all identical! From the wall to the center of the light is 21 inches. These guys are extremely strong. The shades are easily adjustable and unscrewed from the fitter exposing the big copper threads…. Nice to be able to lower the shade for cleaning. Clean shades perform FAR better than dirty shades. I will include the wire-nuts, might save you a trip to the hardware store.
